Park Hyatt Hotel

Located in Toronto’s Yorkville neighbourhood, the new Park Hyatt involved the complete renovation of all interior and exterior spaces of the pre-existing Park Plaza Hotel. All the ballrooms, banquet rooms, and both restaurants—Morton’s Steak House and Annona, a new addition to the hotel—were expanded and refinished. The north tower was completely overhauled and stripped down to the skeletal concrete structure, with the addition of two new floors. A spectacular two-storey gallery was added to connect the two towers. The grandeur of the new entry and porte-cochère off Avenue Road was made possible by expanding the lower levels and rerouting the entry hall, where valet attendants are waiting. A new 12,000-square-foot Stillwater Spa was incorporated on the lower level.
