Budimir Public Library

Completed in 2018, the Budimir Branch renovation and 6,000 sq. ft. expansion reimagined this south Windsor library as a brighter, more functional community hub. The design nearly doubles the original floor area, creating an open, flexible environment that supports modern library programming and enhances user experience.

The expansion introduces improved sightlines, additional study and gathering spaces, and a stronger architectural presence along the streetscape. Thoughtful material selections, expanded glazing, and an updated layout bring new vitality to the branch while respecting its neighbourhood context. The result is a transformed public space that supports learning, connection, and community growth.
